I’ve been a bit slow with going through my photographs from my recent trip to Switzerland. But alas here are a few I took while on an excursion around Lake Brienz. It was a bit hard to capture the amazing colour of the lake due to the overcast but boy was it somethin’! Please look out for more posts of my photographs.
To get the apartment semi-ready for Christmas my Husband and I decided to make Paper Snowflakes for our front windows using this tutorial. It was really simple and therapeutic while listening to some Christmas carols. Enjoy and God Jul to you!
Over the weekend my husband and I visited Amsterdam. It was my first time visiting and I hope it won’t be my last! I just enjoyed being away from ‘home’ and stumbling upon art in the canals, cute shops and walking through the flower market. Go to my Flickr if you want to see more photographs from my trip!
My smartphone is an extension of my photography and just yesterday, one of my smartphone photos (see it here) was curated to VSCO Selects (a showcase of exceptional images from around the globe!!) I’m surprised that a photo of mine has been selected but I’m really happy that I got some exposure. Above are some more smartphone photos from my VSCO Grid that I have taken during the year. For more photos follow me on Instagram or see my VSCO grid from time to time.
We celebrated our first wedding anniversary in the swedish countryside. On Friday morning we took the train from Copenhagen into Malmö, which was exciting because you go through and over the Malmö bridge! We picked up our mystery car from Hertz and off we went to explore Skåne County. We stayed in a small cottage and visited Christinehofs Slott and Disa Ting Stone Circle (plus some walking trails through the forest). We hope to explore the region sometime soon! Visit my Flickr account if you want to see more photographs.
For my husband’s birthday we took a trip and visited Møns Klint. It’s a 6 km stretch of chalk cliffs along the eastern coast of the Danish island of Møn in the Baltic Sea. The walk down to the sea was quite easy but the walk back up, well that took a bit more effort (which was well worth it!). If you are planning a day trip, the island of Møn should make the shortlist.
Last weekend I was a volunteer photographer for Stafet For Livet – Frederiksberg. It was the first time that I put my photography skills to work for a good cause and I loved it! It felt good being able to photograph an event that focuses on the cause of cancer and it’s fighters. I don’t think there was a better way for me to spend my weekend. Follow Stafet For Livet – Frederiksberg on Facebook or for more information visit their website.
