    her skin resembles the cold beauty of winter ravaged concrete. she steps lightly over the cracks in the pavement. her grace is betrayed by a cruel blast of stagnant air which whips her hair against her fragile face.

    i watch her. intrigued by what she sees.

    she pauses at an intersection and watches as it is bravely conquered by a grey willowy figure. though the advancing years have provided the figure with an extraordinary amount of expertise in this battle they appear frightened by the arena in which they stray.

    it is now I see that it is not only me that sees.
